Webinar: It’s ‘Go’ Time! Get Out the Vote for Climate and Health

— Why Our Voices and Votes Matter More Than You Think —
September 18th 5-6 PM (PT), 8-9 PM (ET)
This is a non-partisan event.
The focus is on elevating the impacts of climate change on health as a reason to vote.

The November election is widely seen as ‘make-or-break’ for climate policy. Climate concerned health professionals have a unique opportunity to mobilize our colleagues (… a population with historically low voter turnout) – and our patients – to vote for climate, health and equity. Come to feel the Urgency, to recognize the Opportunity, and to leverage our powerful Agency.

  • HEAR from physicians on the front lines of the climate emergency.
  • LEARN why non-partisan health sector civic engagement and voting is the prescription we need to protect our health and a life-sustaining planet.
  • SEE how one group of health professionals (Virginia Clinicians for Climate Action) have developed and deployed their own toolkit, including the “Civic Engagement Resources” from the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health.
  • TAKE ACTION NOW: 3 quick recommendations for how you can help.
  • NETWORK: Share and collaborate with other health professionals who are working on GOTV.
